Bobby pins here, there, and everywhere!

I don't know about you, but I use bobby pins almost everyday. Especially in the summer because I hate to have bangs in my face. Then I take my them out of my hair, I put them down wherever I am. The next time I need one, they have all disappeared! Where do they go, I don't really know, but I'm pretty sure there is a little bobby pin fairy that wanders around my house and steals them! In an attempt to be a little more organized, I decided to make a better place for my stray bobby pins, using a magnetic strip. So far, it works out great!

I took a magnetic strip and put double sided tape on the back of it. Then stuck it right to the inside of my bathroom cabinent. I haven't lost one since!

Jewelry Board

Here is my latest project! I made a jewelry board for my room. I love it AND it saves counter space. It was fun and easy.

Materials
Frame $2.50 - I found it at a consignment shop on a half off day!
Platinum spray paint $3.99 - I used my 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby.
Mesh laundry bag $1.00
Cardboard - Free, from my garage

Project total: $7.49!!!

BEFORE

I started by taking the picture and glass out of the frame. Next I used the platinum spray paint to color the frame. I laid the laudndry bag on the back of the frame. Then I cut four strips of cardboard from a box, used it to roll each side of the bag in to the edge of the frame, and stapled the cardboard to the frame. Viola!
