Day 30: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful for music. I love music, any kind and every kind, it makes me happy. I spent 17 years of my life dancing to every kind of music that you can imagine and I loved it every second maybe not the injuries or arthritis. I love to sing even though I don't sound good. When I was pregnant with Kaylee, I would put headphones on my belly, so that they didn't have to listen to the people I worked with. Instead she listened to a little bit of everything. She kicked A LOT when Johnny Cash was on, we used to joke that she was line dancing in my belly. As a baby, Evan would calm if you turned on the radio. Music is amazing.

Day 29: A Month to give Thanks

Today I'm thankful for the family that I have acquired along my life journey. There are so many people that have been added to my list of family over the years, whether they were brought in by marriage or because I love them so much that I made them family. The people in my life make me happy and I'm so blessed to have them.

Day 28: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful for my car. I love my car! Her name is Candy because she is a candy apple red Ford Escape and she is awesome. Candy has a ton of space for road trips or Costco trips, and it's the perfect size for our family.

Day 27: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful for each and every person that has come in and out of my life and inspired me to be me. Friends who show me that I'm cherished, and loved. Family that let me be ME. Unfriends who have shown me the ugly truth about people. Those who have taught me a lesson and prepared me for something much bigger. A great friend recently told me "real eyes, realize, real lies." It's only five words, but to someone who is gullible by nature, it's a remedy. After all, I'm still evolving.

Day 26: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am very thankful for my happy marriage. We make each other happy, we laugh, we love, and we pray together. Life is good no matter what happens because we are together. Marriage is so much better than I ever dreamed it would be, and I wouldn't trade this kind of love for anything. I can't imagine anything more amazing than this.

Day 24: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am so very thankful for the magic that my kids bring into my life. Wonderful, magnificent, sweet and whimsical magic that makes me feel like a kid again. There is something intoxicating about watching my children's faces light up when they find our Elf doing someting funny, or hunt for their Easter baskets knowing that the Easter bunny made these clues entirely for them. It's one of my favorite things in life, to create this magical fantasy for them to believe in. I love being a Mom!!!

Day 23: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful to begin our holiday celebration. Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, we decorate the house and put up our Christmas tree. We bake cookies, write letters to Santa, turn on the Christmas music, and spend the entire day getting into the holiday spirit. We celebrate the return of our favorite little elf, Willis. Each year he returns home to us from Santa's village in the North Pole. The kids have been writing letters to him and counting down the days, they can hardly wait to see Willis.

Day 22: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful for moments like these, snuggled up with my loves, watching our favorite show, with my perfect cup of coffee. I'm looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with great friends. I haven't told the kids that there will be a bouncy house, I can't wait to see the excitement in their eyes when they find out!

Day 21: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful to live in a community that has so much to offer a family. It's such a blessing to have so many fun family activites. Movies in Central Park, Holiday POPS, ice skating downtown, and holiday festivals. This is such a happy time to live in Winter Park, and on top of it all it's absolutely beautiful this time of year.

Day 20: A Month to give Thanks

Today I'm thankful for fall. It's my favorite time of year and I just love all that it brings. Great weather, I love wearing sweaters and my UGGS. I enjoy looking around at all of the holiday decor and cheer. Everyone is happy and full of holiday cheer. It's a time for all things pumpkin, from the pies to the latte's. I just love fall

Day 19: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am so thankful for family time! My family is incredible, I have a fun husband and two fun children, no matter what we do together, it's FUN! Family date nights are awesome, but staying in for our Saturday campouts are the best. No matter what we do, we just love being together. I'm thankful for each and every second that I spend with my crew!

Day 17: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful to be a stay at home Mom (SAHM). I'm lucky that my man is old fashioned. Before we were married, we decided that we didn't want anyone else taking care of our children. Someone once told me that they witnessed a child walking for the first time and saying that first word, but couldn't bring themselves to tell the parents. I can't even imagaine missing those precious moments. I love that I get to watch my children grow every single second. I've been blessed to witnessed every milestone and every smile. I love my job, I really do. It's definitely more difficult than I ever thought it could be. At times I think having a job would be much less work. I don't get lunch breaks or sick days, but the rewards are better than any paycheck. It's funny when other Mom's will say that they couldn't be housewives, they would get bored...LAUGH OUT LOUD! I only wish I had time to be bored. I know that when my kids are older, I will have plenty of time to do things for me, but right now it's all about them and I'm okay with that. I just know that I wouldn't trade this job for anything else in the world.

Day 16: A Month the give Thanks

Today I am thankful for Skype! Being on the opposite side of the country as my family can be hard. Technology makes it a little bit easier on us. I can still see and talk to the people I love, even though we are 2,731 apart. I have a precious new baby in my life and I love that I get to see her whenever I want to. It makes me happy to know that I can still watch her grow and be a part of her life. What a wonderful invention!!! I'm super close with my Mom so it means a lot that we can see her everyday. I know that she loves being able to watch Kaybear read, or see EJ's latest trick. I'm pretty sure that all of our family members enjoy getting to see the kids. Skype you ROCK!

Day 15: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am Thankful for rain! Rain is a wonderful thing, not only for the obvious reasons that you learn about in school, but for the comfort and feeling it brings to me. My family and I cherish rainy days. Living in Arizona for SEVEN years, where it rained a handful of times a year, has expanded our love for the rain. We have a long list of rainy day activities that we enjoy, but our favorite is just playing in the rain. Sometimes we blow up balloons and have a rain party in our Florida room. WE LOVE RAIN!!!

Today I am Thankful for Electronic Arts! EA moved us across the country, to a wonderful part of Florida that we absolutely LOVE. They have been such an amazing company to work for and it's so family oriented. They go all out for every occasion and it's always a blast to go to Daddy's work. Our company picnic was at Universal Studios, it was amazing. EA really appreciates their employee's and we feel very blessed to be a part of the EA family!

Health is something that too many people take for granted. With each passing year, I realize how important it is to take care of yourself, both mind and body. Fortunately, I am in good health for the most part, what a blessing!

Today I am Thankful for all of the men and women, that so proudly serve our country. You make it possible for us to sleep peacefully in our beds at night. To all of our Veterans, you are the real hero's that I will tell my children about. To our fallen soldiers, especially my friend Daniel, this day and everyday I am thankful for you.

Day 10: A Month to give Thanks

Today I am thankful for my life experience. David and I set off on our life journey together eight years ago and we've had so much fun just being together. I think having some alone time before starting our family, allowed us to be carefree and just enjoy each other. I love to experience new things and meet new people! Living in different states and traveling as much as we do has been amazing! Our family has A LOT of fun and it's such a blessing to be able to give our children such good times and fun. Everyday is something new and exciting! I love my life and I'm thankful to be living it!

Today I'm thankful for my friends. Every girl should get to have friends like mine! I have the greatest friends and I could not be more thankful for them! You know who you are and you know how much I love you. Whether it's a good laugh or a good cry, it's better when we do it together.
